WorkOfficially started in 2021, founded by Imamsab Mulla, with a simple question: why is it still so hard for good people to work together safely online? Freelancers and the clients who hire them kept running into the same rough edges, and the company was built to fix them.
What was broken
Anyone who has hired or worked online knows these problems:
- Late and uncertain payment. Delivering great work and then chasing an invoice for weeks, never sure the money would actually arrive.
